Despite its military roots and rugged appearance, the standard Mercedes-AMG G63 is not inherently off-road-capable in its stock form. However, Southern California’s Pit26 Motorsports has built a reputation for transforming G-Class models into lifted and ruggedized, go-anywhere off-roaders. The latest offering from Pit26 is the all-new Pit26 G63 AMG Crew Cab. This Mercedes Benz G Wagon Pickup Truck is truly epic!
Engineered from the ground up, Pit26’s crew cab model is based on a 2019 to 2023 Mercedes-Benz G550 or AMG G63 G-Class donor, designed to balance hardcore off-roading capabilities with daily drivability. The donor truck is stripped down to the frame, where the chassis is then stretched by 20″ and fitted with a full-length pickup bed. Further enhancements include re-geared portal axles, upgraded upper and lower control arms, knuckle steering, a full lower truss-equipped rear axle and custom-developed 2.65″ Bilstein performance racing shocks.
The crew cab Mercedes G Wagon Pickup Truck is available for purchase with either 20″ forged simulated bead-lock wheels or 18″ Innov8 racing wheels, along with a host of customizable options. The vehicle’s sleek dark grigio exterior is complemented by a variety of accessories, including a custom front bumper equipped with a winch, a high-clearance rear bumper featuring a spare tire carrier, a roof-rack adorned with KC off-road lights, and a rooftop tent for your next outdoor adventure. Additionally, the factory-running boards have been omitted in favor of electric side steps, and a custom exhaust system has been installed. The truck also features a pair of mountain bike bed racks and Truck Vault rear cargo storage, providing ample space for your gear and equipment.
