Welcome to the home of PIT26 Motorsports. My name is Samuel Shaaya and my affinity with cars/trucks, like many of you, started from before I could even see over the steering wheel. Pit26 is the culmination of years of tinkering, learning, meeting/greeting, and being unsatisfied with what I saw in the open market for my own truck.
I wanted my luxury SUV to look and perform more like my other trucks, pre-runners, and rock crawlers. I wanted the prestige of Beverly Hills and performance inspired by Baja and Dakar. Most importantly, I was not interested in the big wheel, skinny tire, glued on go fast body parts that failed to bring anything to the table aside from an improved aesthetic. The belief that by making something more suitable to my needs was making the vehicle better. Needless to say, building some of the best performing G wagon trucks in the World has taken nearly a decade.
Over the years I have been blessed to meet a number of racers, fabricators, innovators, and artists that continue to inspire me to this day. Down to the most basic of components/requests I am intrigued by each truck owners’ wants/needs and I’m humbled to be the one they trust to bring their visions to fruition. I’m truly honored to be a part of that bond. It allows for the ever evolving innovation process at Pit26 Motorsports to continue every single day.

The Pit26 name stands for quality, innovation and performance. We are not just the home of the Crew Cab Pick up, 4×4² conversion and a slew of parts that have been tried and tested for your G wagon truck. We are also the home for your ideas and dreams. I welcome you to share your vision with us and let us bring it to fruition. While we are focused on the G wagon truck platform, we do entertain and take on unique builds for those qualified clients that would like to go down the rabbit hole with us. We are fortunate to have worked/consulted on builds for the Dakar Rally, NORRA, and Baja 1000.
The Pit26 Motorsports team is well versed across multiple disciplines and my role is to bridge the gap between wanting and having your dream vehicle. I am your single point of contact where we design together, approve together, and then manage the build for you. We find that this allows for fit that is not just luxury, its personal. We have worked with clients in over 60 countries and have shipped vehicles all over the world.
Speaking of team, I can’t go any further without introducing Micah Coley, my good friend, business partner, and a Master mechanic across multiple hyper, super, and muscle car applications. Micah (AKA Hollywood Mechanic) is the real deal, he heads up our innovation laboratory and development team and is a critical part of Pit26. When I first delved into the Mercedes G Wagon World, I had a lot of questions. Many of which were standard, but most failed to have an easily accessible answer if any. I would find myself in chat forums for hours searching for tire clearance specs, suspension travel info and other like subjects only to find limited details. I often wondered why one of the world’s MOST capable out of the box vehicles, the Mercedes G Wagon, is so under served?
While I continued reaching out to the limited number of resources available, I found that no one actually provided the level of service that I wanted. That’s how the G Wagon became my ultimate passion. I studied for years absorbing as much information as I could, cross referencing what I was learning with all that I had picked up in the past from my experience with the other trucks. This led me to determine the following: If you are going to endeavor into building a custom G Wagon, your build shaman better be able to guide you through the journey. Even if you are buying parts to bolt on, there better be a support system when questions arise. When you want something special you should be able to reach out and know your request will get proper attention and execution. That is who we are at Pit26 Motorsports. Our ability to custom prototype most any part in house allows for limitless development possibilities. As we continue to grow, we are most interested in the relationships that we cultivate. This in turn allows for further innovation and improved product quality.
