When we compared the original Mercedes w463 4×4² to the new Factory 2023 w463a 4×4², there was truly no comparison. The older w463 truck trumped over the new setup as was proven with a stop drive recall on all models due to a faulty rear axle casting and plug weld. Additionally, the lack of attention to making the new version stronger and improved over standard G wagon was evident by way of standard axle housings, factory like suspension, and limited wheel travel. Our 4×4² conversion is far superior in all aspects to the factory 4×4².
